Hello again,
Telemark Voices has been a little quiet the last little bit - a big thanks to Alex Limkin and Rajkeshwar Tulsie for helping me keep the lights on of late.
Much is going on in the world of telemark. And with few sources for information, especially in written form, a bit of a vacuum exists in our sport. I hope - in some modest way - to help fill that void.
As such, in addition to my column at Powder, I plan to continue the blog this season in a bigger way with a slightly new format, from roughly late October through April:
Every other Monday or so we'll publish a Weekly Long Read - something to chew on through the week or help you ease back into the grind Monday mornings.
Every other Wednesday we'll try to post As The World Turns, a shorter, article-style piece that will cover current telemark topics and occasionally free-heel adjacent issues.
Most Tuesday's and Thursday's we'll post the Telemark Voices Blog - short, more conversational snippets diving into a wide range of telemark topics.
And we'll send a Monthly Newsletter as both a recap and look forward with occasional news to boot.
Thanks to all who have read the blog over its short time. As always, please reach out if you are interested in contributing to any portion of the site. I know there's more telemark writers out there. This can be your platform.
So here's to this next winter. I want Telemark Voices to be a place where free-heelers can not only find information and camaraderie, but also an exploration of the depth of the telemark experience.
